Road Safety Council A welcome to Miss M. Magill, Dip. Soc. Sc., who was recently appointed to the New Zealalid Road Safety Council, was extended by the chairman, tlie Minister of Transport, Hon. R. Semple, at yesterday’s meeting of the 'council. Miss Magill is a member of the Eastbourne Borough Council and a former president of the New Zealand Educational Institute. St. Margaret's Old Girls The Wellington branch of the St. Margaret’s College Old Girls’ Association held a most enjoyable bridge evening at Mrs. Bilky’s flat in Portland Crescent on Thursday.
