ISSUING OF VALUELESS CHEQUE ALLEGED

That lie obtained from Harry Digby James, at Greymouth, on October 23/ the sum of £5O by means of a valueless cheque, was n charge preferred against John Brewer, aged 42, in the Magistrates’ Court to-day. He was remanded to appear at Greyinouth on February 9.
