HIT-AND-RUN CHARGES
Young Man Committed For Trial Bv Telegraph—Press Association. , Reef ton, January 28. On charges of negligently driving a motor-car, thus causing the. death of Hugh Paul Hampson and of failing to stop and ascertain whether he was injured and render practical assistance. George Bennet Mareden, aged 21, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. At an inquest held contemporaneously with the case an open verdict was returned.
