Besieged Italians In Abyssinia Rome, January 27. The army journal belatedly gives an account, of the privations of 400 Italians who were surrounded at' Lalibela by Abyssinian rebels in the rainy season. During the whole of August and September aeroplanes flew 200 miles from Diredawa daily, dropping food and munitions to the beleaguered men, and harassing the besiegers. During the same, period the Italians, as a measure of protection, dropped 0834 bombs in the vicinity of the railway line between Addis Ababa and Mojjo.
