MILK SOLD BELOW STANDARD
Milk sold by Mary Woburn Wood, dairywoman, was described as very stale when she was charged in the Magistrates’ Court, Wellington, yesterday, with selling milk not up to standard. Defendant, who was stated to have been convicted twice previously and to have been warned six times since April, was fined £lO. Iu a letter to the court she stated the weather had been very hot and that there had been insufficient water pressure for the cooler.
