For an attempted unnatural offence at Dannevirke on January 21, Harold Heather Huntly, labourer, aged 55, was admitted to probation for three years when he appeared for sentence before Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court, Wellington, yesterday. Prisoner was ordered to pay the cost of the prosecution, £l/19/-, within three months, and to abstain from liquor during the period of his probation.
