ON EVE OF SANDERS CUP CONTEST

Conference Of Delegates By —Press Association. Dunedin, January 26. The annual meeting of delegates to the Sanders Cup conference was held to-night, when complete arrangements were made for the 1938 series of races which will begin to-morrow. Mr. J. D Cameron, president of the Otago Yacht and Motor-boat Association presided, and the following delegates were present: Messrs. G. 8. Miller (Auckland) : L. Robertson and R. Quill (Wellington) ; W. H. Beanland and F. Dobbie (Canterbury) ; C., Smith (Otago) ; F. G. Biggs and T. Bragg (Southland). It was agreed that the first race tomorrow will begin at 2.30 p.m. The courses will be approximately but not more than nine miles, the first race co be sailed over a windward and leeward course and the second over a triangular course. The usual time limit of three hours and the rules governing past contests were agreed to.
