TO-DAY'S RECIPE
Cornflake Macaroons
Ingredients: Two egg whites, one cup sugar, one cup shredded coconut or chopped walnuts, two cups cornflakes, few drops vanilla essence. Beat egg whites till stiff, blend in rest of ingredients, drop from tip of spoon on to tray covered with buttered greaseproof paper, and bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes. Half a blanched almond may be put on top of each.
