Resignations Requested
Geneva, December 19. Italian officials remaining witli the Secretariat of the League of Nations were summoned to a meeting at tiie Italian Consulate and asked to resign. Although they were told there would be no pressure against them, it was hinted that they “would have to take
le consequences” if they stayed. The Italian Government has notified
tiie International Institute of Educational Cinematography, Rome, formed under the auspices of the League, that it must close on January 1.
The employees have been given notice. Tiie headquarters of the Institute was established in Rome at Italy’s special request.
