BOXING KANGAROO
At Evans Bay Carnival Perhaps the greatest novelty at the Evans Bay carnival will be the appearance of “Aussie.” the boxing kangaroo. “Aussie” is well known as a film performer and really seems to put his whole heart into his work. His boxing is perhaps a little unorthodox and he has been known to indulge in tactics that referees do.not countenance. But at least he is trained to go back to his corner when the goug sounds. He has the advantage of being able to use fore and hind feet at once, balancing as his tail to do so. As his height in this attitude is about that of an average man it may well be imagined that he is a formidable antagonist.
