TOOHEYS, LIMITED Another New Share Issue By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, December 20., Tooheys Ltd. have decided to isstie 175,000 ehares at a premium of 8/- each in the proportion of one for every ten shares already held. Tooheys Ltd. has a paid capital of £1,400,000 in 1,750,000-shares of 16/each, fully paid. An issue of 250,000 new 16/- shares, one for six, at a premium of 8/- each, was made last February, which came as a surprise. Since 1930 the company has obtained most of its finance through its associate, Tooheys Standard Securities Ltd., at a cost of 54 per cent. To pay 9 per cent, on the £200,000 of share capital gathered in during the la4t financial year, the captial and premium money combined (£300,OOO) need turn in only O per cent. For the year ended July 31, 1937, the disclosed net profit was £120,136 and the dividend 9 per cent. Reserves total £756,933.
