THREE AWARDS MADE
Second Arbitration Court
Recommendations of the Conciliation Council in three disputes w*ere confirmed by the Second Arbitration Court sitting at Wellington yesterday, and' awards were made in terms of the agreements reached. The court consisted of Mr. Justice Hunter, Mr. W. E. Anderson, employers’ representative, and Mr. A. W. Croskery, employees’ representative.
The disputes were: — Wellington industrial wool scourers. Otago and Southland threshing-mill workers.
Marlborough threshing-mill workers. The court will sit at Auckland on January 21, 1938. The Arbitration Court, presided over by Mr. Justice O’Regan, will to-morrow sit in Wellington to “clean up” before the holidays.
