Hopes Fading Daily
Tokio, December 16. Hopes that the 1940 Olympic Games will be held at Tokio are fading daily, according to the “Asahi Shumbun,” which says that so many problems are confronting the organising committee that it will not be able to guarantee to the international committee at its meeting at Cairo in March that the construction of the arenas will be started in April.
