Mr. A. Juriss, of the staff of the Dunedin Courthouse, has been promoted to the Lower Hutt and Petoue Magistrates’ Courts. He will also act as maintenance officer." Mr. J. 11. Fulton, of the staff of the Invercargill Courthouse, has been promoted to the position of chief bailiff in Dunedin in place of Mr. Juriss. Mr. E. 11. S. Miller, chief of staff of “The Dominion,” has been appointed under the Empire Press Union’s scheme for the exchange of journalists with British newspapers, to tho ‘'Western Morning News,” Plymouth, and “The Times.” London. The appointments are consecutive for a period, of six months from early in the New Year.
