APPEAL BY COMPANY ALLOWED
Goldsbrough Mort Fire
Sydney, December 15.
The High Court, by a three to two majority judgment, allowed the appeal of the Goldsbrough Mort Company, Limited, from the decision of the State Full Court that the company was not entitled to retain out of the insurances paid on wool destroyed in the fire in the company’s stores in September, 1935, amounts representing commissions that would have been earned on the eale of the wool if the Are had not occurred.
