Miss Gwen Gibbs, principal of the Broadway School of Dancing, Palmerston North, who holds the Advanced Teachers' Certificate, the highest award of the Royal Academy of Dancing (London), and her staff, Misses Lorna McAffer, Margaret Pegden, and Loraine Major, all of whom gained, at the same time, both their Elementary and Intermediate Certificates of the R.A.D in the recent examinations. It is worthy of note that Miss Gibbs is the first New Zealand dancing instructress to be awarded the Advanced Teachers' Certificate. (P.B.A.)
