Secondary School Athletes At Basin Reserve CRICKET COMPETITIONS The principal outdoor event to-day will be the sixteenth annual athletic championship meeting of the Wellington secondary schools, which will be held at the Basin Reserve. The pick of the athletes of nine colleges will be seen in action. There will be a parade of athletes at 2.15 p.m. Cricket Programme. The Wellington Cricket Association will continue its grade championship competitions this afternoon. In the senior competition W ellington, with 223 on for the loss of only three wickets, should have a chance of securing an outright win over University, who tell for 172 in their first innings. This maten will be concluded on Kelburn Park. Midland, who have 130 up for the loss of two wickets, should have no difficulty in heading Hutt’s score of 212 on the Hutt Recreation Ground. .
