Bannatyne, of Wellington, N.Z.; in her 87th year. MATTHEWS. —On November 10, 1937, at a private hospital, Wellington, Lila Christie dearly loved youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Matthews, Oporua, Featherston; aged 20 yeais. PERSSON.—On November 9, 1937 (suddenly). at the Public Hospital, Wellington, Louisa Hetty, loving wife .0 Werner Persson, of 14 Hankey btn.i t, aged 48. JELI.P. WALLIS.—On November 7, 1937, at her ‘ home, Short Street, Masterton Wilhelmina Agnes, widow of the late Ihilip IVallis and dearly beloved mother ot Mr. H. D. Wallis, Carterton, Mrs. K. Vautier, Palmerston North, Mrs. Vt. F Dav. Pahiatua, and Sister Wallis and, Miss M. F. Wallis, of Masterton; aged 83 years.
