MURE than 33J- acres of ground, with a magnificent show-ring and racing track, comprise the property of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and Association, scene of the Royal Show this year. Dew, if any, better grounds are available in New Zealand than that at Palmerston North. Every animal exhibited this year will be under cover, and each breed will be accommodated in a separate pavilion for facility in judging and inspection. Even the horse entries will be under cover, the association having recently erected a further 45 stalls in one of the halls.

Two grandstands, capable of accommodating 4000 people, ensure that a good view will be obtained of all events held in the show-ring. A loud-speaking public address system will also be in operation. The show buildings, which have a floor space of 25,000 square feet, will be completely occupied by show exhibits of one kind or another. On one side of the grounds a belt of trees and shrubs has been specially cultivated for the use of picnic parties.

Accommodation will be made available to exhibitors o£ stock from distances, and a number of enclosures has been provided by dividing the paddocks adjacent to the grounds.
