Pleading guilty to a charge of the theft at Auckland on August 10, 1936, of a leather overcoat valued at £6, the property of Cyril Malcolm Taylor, Thomas Francis King, labourer, aged 55, appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, yesterday, and was remanded until to-day for sentence. The Wellington Education Board yesterday declined to remove from persons using school buildings temporarily closed the responsibility of insuring them against fire.
