Mount Cook Tourist Coy. Dominion Special Service. Christchurch, October 20 A net profit of £4082, against £l3OO last year and a loss of £2112 in 1935, is shown in the accounts of the Mount Cook Tourist Company for the year ended March 31, 1937 During the year the nominal capital was reduced from £85,000 to £42,500 and the paid capital by £40,763 to £39,666, and the name changed to the Mount Cook and Southern Lakes Tourist Co., Ltd. During the year a hotel and a launch service had been purchased at Queenstown. Reorganisation has allowed the writing off of an accumulated deficit of £38,700.
