PIGEON RACING
Competition Results The Wellington Central Pigeon Club held two races last Saturday. The first, a flock race, was from Huntervillc, 101 miles, and the second, a flock race, was from Mercer, 285 miles. Messrs. Dickey Bros, won both .races with Stella Lady and Crescent Star. Valdore, 2.43.5, 3; Mr. R. Ji Fearn’s Black Rock, 2.49.24, 4; Mr. W. J. Fearn’s Valmarch, 3.37.52, 5; Mr. A. A. "Wilton’s Night Cap, 6. Mercer, 285 miles: Messrs. Dickey Bros.’ Crescent Star, 10.0.23, 1; Mr. M. G. Smith’s Winning Hit, 10.1.5, 2; Mr. A. A. Wilton’s The Duke, 11.36.43, 3; Messi's. Webb Bros.’ Patricia’s Choice, 4; Mr. F. C. Ferris’s Race-Call, 5. The club will hold two races again on Saturday, a one-bird interval from National Park, 150 miles, and a flock race from Auckland. 314 miles.
