Flower Bath Salts
Novel Aids To Beauty At Albert Hall (By Feneli.a. ) ‘•Dominion" Special Service.—By Air Mall. London, October 1. “ \ IDS to Beauty” are one of the main features of the chemists’ exhibition now being held at the Albert Hall. After a stroll round the exhibition my hands and clothes would have presented a puzzle to any connoisseur of perfumes, so many and varied scents had i>eeii sprayed on to me as I passed to examine the latest creams ami powders. One ingenious bottle of scent took my fancy. It is in the form of a bunch of flowers, and screws upside-down into a tiny flower-pot. A special rubber cap prevents any leakage. A good idea for a Christmas present Is a gadget like a windscreen-wiper, which clears Ihe mirror of a powdercompact when the lid is opened. Bath-salts, I discovered, have been made more attractive as well as more efficient. The variety that foams in the bath has now lieen made up into little tablets in the shape of flowers, with different colours and perfumes. These are sold in boxes in which they are arranged in designs, and they look most attractive. The firm which manufactures these bath-salts also exhibited a liquid bath milk, which may take the place of salts or else be rubbed on the body after a bath.
