Talk On Tanganyika

Many members and their friends were present at the University Women’s Club on Tuesday evening to hear a most interesting talk on Tanganyika given by Mrs. Ostler. After relating the early history of the colony, its geographical surroundings and climate, Mrs. Ostler recalled the journey she and her husband, Mr. Justice Ostler, made through the wilds. The beautiful scenery and quaint native huts and thrilling incidents in the jungle were vividly described.

Miss Van Stavoren proposed a very hearty vote of thanks to the speaker for an instructive address. The house committee served a dainty supper.
