Miss Jean Batten’s Flight To England SHORT STAY AT ALOR STAR By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received Otcober 20, 7.45 p.m.) Singapore, October 20. Miss Jean Batten has arrived at Rangoon and is sleeping. ' She landed at Alor Star from Batavia at 12.25 a.m., G.M.T., and took off again at 3.25 a.m. for Rangoon. Miss Batten described the flight from Darwin as fairly good. BROADBENT FURTHER DELAYED London, October 19. Fog further delayed the start of Mr. H. F. Broadbent’s flight to Darwin. He is hopeful of setting off to-mor-row.
