The Unemployed
Sir, —The unemployment tax, now called employment tax, is gathered for the purpose of supporting those who are not engaged in and supported by the usual forms of industry, therefore all those who are supported by the employment tax and other special funds are rightly counted as unemployed and should so appear in statistics. —I am, etc., E.
