COUNCIL OF SPORT
Government Approves Bill
Legislation for the establishment of the New Zealand Council of Sport and Recreation on the lines decided at a recent conference between the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. W. E. Parry, and New Zealand sports bodies, wa s approved by the Government yesterday. Mr. Parry stated last evening that a Bill embodying the scheme would now be prepared for submission to Parliament.
