PLANES COLLIDE
Four People Killed in
Crash
(Received September 13, 7.45 p.m.) South Bend (Indiana), Sept. 13. The pilot and two men and a woman who were passengers were killed when two planes collided in mid-air. The left, wing was ripped from one plane, which nose-dived to earth from 1006 feet. The second machine landed without damage, though it was encumbered by the first plane’s Jost wing.
