RELIGIOUS SERVICES. LECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH (God willing), T 0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET, SUNDAY, AT 7 P.M. Subject: “WHY BRITAIN IS NOT ISRAEL” THE BRITISH-ISRAEL THEORY REFUTED. The object of this lecture is to show from the Scriptures what the true facts concerning the nation of Israel are in contrast, to the erroneous teaching of British-Israelism. In the course of the lecture it will be shown: (1) THAT all the twelve tribes of Israel (the whole nation) were distinctly told' by God at the beginning of their national existence that if disobedient to God’s commandments they—all the twelve tribes —would be “SCATTERED AMONG ALL PEOPLE, FROM THE ONE END OF THE EARTH EVEN UNTO THE OTHER” to become “AN ASTONISHMENT, A PROVERB, AND A BYWORD, AMONG ALL NATIONS.” (Dent. 28:15, 25, 37, 63-64, Lev. 26:31-35). (2) THAT the subsequent history of the nation of Israel reveals the fact that ALL THE TWELVE TRIBES proved themselves “A REBELLIOUS NATION,” and consequently, as foretold, they—the twelve tribes—were ultimately “REMOVED INTO ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE EARTH.” (Eze. 2:3-8, Eze. 3:1-11; Amos 3 :l-2, 2 Kings 17:6-23, 2 Kings 18:11-12, Jer. 5:11-18, Jer. 50:17, Dan. 9:5-11, Hosea 9:17, Luke 21:24). (3) THAT the prophecies plainly indicate that all the scattered twelve tribes of Israel would remain scattered among the nations until regathered to Palestine to become the mightiest mortal nation in the coming KINGDOM OF GOD on earth. (Isa. 11:11-12, Jer. 3:18, Jer. 30:3, Jer. 31:10, Jer. 31:27-28. Jer. 33:78, Jer. 33:14-26, Eze. 20 ;33-44, Eze. 28:25-26, Eze. 36 -.22-24, Eze. 37 :2122, Eze. 39 :25-28, Jer. 23:5-8, Gen. 12:2, Micah 4:6-8, Zech. 8:23, etc.). (4) THAT, furthermore, the prophecies plainly indicate that Israel’s throne —the throne of David —would be overturned and would “be no more” uutil the return to EarUi of the Lord Jesus Christ—lsrael’s rejected Messiah—whose mission it will be to restore David’s throne in Jerusalem and then reigu therefrom, not only as King over the twelve tribes of Israel then regathered and become “a great nation.” but, as “KING OVER ALL THE EARTH.” (Eze. 21:25-27, Hosea 1:4, Hosea 3 :4-5, Acts 1:6, Amos 9:11, Acts 15:16-17, Jer. 33:14-18, Lukg 1:31-33, Isa. 24:23, Jer. 3:17, Matt. 19 :?8, Luke 22:29-30, Zech. 14:9, Acts 17:31, Rev. 19:15-16, etc.).
