George Henry Owens, a Dublin motor denier and importer, was fined £3OOO in the Dublin District Court for evasion of Customs duty on five motor-cars, attempted evasion in the case of one car, and using counterfeit documents tq effect the importations of cars.
It was reported from, Cluj, Transylvania, that 272 peasants of Tasnad commune, in the department of Salaj, are being treated at the Pasteur Institute at Cluj because they had drunk the milk of sheep suffering from rabies. Some of them are said to be in great danger.
