FRUIT BOARD MEMBER

Presentation Yesterday Mr. A. M. Robertson, Hawke’s Bay. who is retiring from the New Zealand Fruit-Export Control Board, was presented with a leather case at the annual conference of the New Zealand Fruitgrowers’ Federation at Wellington yesterday. Mr. Robertson has been a member of the board since it was established 11 years ago and was chairman for a term. He has also been a director of the federation since its inception in 1916. Mr. 11. E. Stephens, chairman of the board, who made the presentation, expressed appreciation of Mr. Robertson’s services. Mr. T. C. Brash, president of the federation, said he was pleased that Mr. Robertson would continue to be associated with that body.
