NEW ZEALANDERS’ CRICKET FORM Bewildering Variations VISIT FROM SIR J. CAHN’S TEAM (Fbom the Special Cobeespondent of the United Pbess Association with the Team.) (Received August 5,12.30 a.m.) Birmingham, August 4. Lord Tennyson, in a newspaper article, says: The bewildering variations in the New Zealand cricketers’ form defy explanation. The players evidently have the talent but are unable consistently to reveal their ability.” He says that Cowie is one of the bowling marvels of the modern age. For consistency, length and direction he has no superior at Home. Mr. Gordon, in the “Cricketer,” says that he understands that Sir Julien Cahn’s team will leave in January for a tour of New Zealand.
