YESTERDAY’S ACCIDENTS
When she slipped and fell at the doorway of the Hotel Avon, Lambton Quay, at about 6.30 p.m. yesterday, Miss T. Meadows, 10 White’s Line East, Lower Hutt, fractured her right leg. She was taken to Hill Street hospital by the Free Ambulance. An. injury to the right ankle was received by Mr. A. Higgins, paint-maker, 8 Ventnor Street, Seatoun, when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a motorcar in 'Waterloo Quay at about 7.20 p.m. yesterday. lie was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance, but was later able to proceed to his home.
