Ministerial. The Hon. F. Jones, PostmasterGeneral, will leave Wellington for the South Island by the inter-island express steamer to-night. He expects to be absent from Wellington for a week. Mr. Arthur Pascoe will leave for Auckland to-morrow, where he will stay for a week before returning to Wellington. Mr. W. J. Evans, managing director of Ross and Glendinlng, Limited, Dunedin, returned south by the steamer express last night, after a short visit to Wellington. Mr. G. McGregor, division manager for the Auckland district of the Texas Company (Australasia), Ltd., left Wellington for the north by the Limited express last night. Flight Lieutenants L. Crocker and L. M. Grundy, of the Royal Air Force, who recently arrived from England on exchange to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, landed at Wellington yesterday. Mr. J. Edwards, who is well known in the motor trade in Australia, and was a popular and successful driver on nearly every race track in the Commonwealth, has joined the Wellington staff of Dominion Motors.

Mr. W, N. Norwood, general manager of Dominion Motors, Ltd., who, with Mrs. Norwood, is leaving shortly on a visit, to England and America, was entertained by tile branch managers of the company at a dinner at the Hotel St. George this week. On behalf of the gathering, Mr. W. D. Gordon presented Mr. Norwood with a gold dress watch, and expressed the hope that he would have a pletrsant and successful trip.
