KNOX WOMEN’S GUILD
Though the attendance was small a happy spirit prevailed at the annual meeting of the Knox Women’s Guild, where heaters and bright flowers made the hall a cheery place. The secretary and treasurer were re-elected. There were four retiring members of the committee, and those elected in their stead were Meadames H. Saunders, Edmeades, Mel lines and Batchelor. The president, Mrs Macky, thanked the officers for their work during the past year, and bouquets were presented to the four retiring members, Mesdames Macaskill, Webley, Evans and Whitcher. Before afternoon tea, Mrs. Stewart rang. An amusing competition was won by Mrs. Christie.
