BRITISH-ISRAELISM
Lecture at Wellington Trades Hall There was a good attendance at the Tracies Hall, YVellington, on Thursday evening to hear a further British Israel lantern lecture, given under the auspices of Mr. SV. E. Wilson. Mr. Y. R. Brown was the siieaker, and Mr. S. T. YVatkins presided. Dealing with fulfilled prophecies as a proof of the identity of the AngloSaxon people as Israel, Mr. Brown said that it was very necessary and most important to know whether the prophecies were to be fulfilled in the former days, latter days or last days. One could then know in what period of time fulfilment could be anticipated. Students of prophecy were unanimously agreed that we are now living in the “Last days.” and it was in the “Last days” that Israel was promiseci to become "A nation and a company of nations.” ami later Jacob confirmed both the promises and the time when blessing Ephraim. This prophecy was fulfilled in November. 1926, whyn the late King George Y' approved of status of the Dominions, and the British Commonwealth of Nations was formed. Similarly, said the speaker, the promise macle to Manusseh, who was Joseph's elder son, and the thriteenth tribe, of being a great jieople, was fulfilled in the American nation of today. On the obverse side of the American seal were 13 constellations (speaking of Joseph's dream), 13 stars, 13 stripes, 13 arrows, 13 olive leaves, 13 berries, and 13 letters in the motto—“E pluribus utium” —or one out of many; while on the reverse side was a pyramid, without the apex stone affixed — undoubtedly a familiar scene to the two brothers, Ephraim and Manasseh, during their youth spent in Egypt. Prophecies which should have been fulfilled by Israel in the "Last days,” said the speaker, have all been wonderfully fulfilled exactly on time by the Anglo-Saxon people • to-day—thus establishing conclusive facts that the British are Israel.
The chairman, after thanking the speaker for his instructive lecture, announced that it further lantern lecture would be given in the Trades Hall next Thursday.
