LEVIN QUEEN CARNIVAL
Dominion Special Service. Levin, July 29. The Levin queen carnival, by which it is hoped to raise £l2OO for investment in public improvements, is proceeding apace. The barometer of votes at the present time reveals the following positions of the queens:—Borough Queen (Miss Margaret Blinkhorn), 6872 votes; Maori Queen (Miss Joyce Winiata), 5855; Sports Queen (Miss M. Mac Lean). 3747.
