Y.M.C.A. Ladies' Auxiliary
A very good attendance of the Y.M.C.A. Ladies’ Auxiliary, Boys’ Division, was presided over by the president, Mrs. 11. E. Brooker. Satisfactory results were reported from a jumble sale held recently, and arrangements for a “coin afternoon” were finished. Members agreed to the purchase of new curtains for the games room and several ladies volunteered to make them. Mr. Buckton, boys’ work secretary, reported on the activities for the past month. Hostesses for afternoon tea were Mesdames Denby and Dean. Mrs. D. Hagan, formerly of Wellington, has taken up residence in XX’ellington.
