Sydney Girl's Leading Role
(OPPORTUNITY to play leading roles v in Australian films has come to several Sydney girls this year. The .newest recruit to the ranks of stardom is Shirley Ann Richards, 18-year-old Mosman girl, whom Cinesound Productions, Ltd., chose to play the leading feminine role in “It Isn't Done.” She will be seen in Uinesound’s latest picture. “Tall Timbers.” Shirley is a browuette with softly waving hair, wide apart grey eyes, a lovely skin, charming smile, and white, even teeth, and lias wonderful photographic possibilities. Five feet five inches in height, she has a very good figure and graceful carriage. A lover of all forms of sport, she excels in the art of fencing. In “Tall Timbers” she takes the part of a young.educated girl, the daughter of a great timber magnate, and her excellent sjieaking voice and general appearance fit her magnificently for the role.
