Wellington Branch Annual Meeting The annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Institute of Marine and Power Engineers was held at the institute premises, Aitken Street, there being over forty members present. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, Mr. H. M. Neilsen; treasurer, Mr. F. 0. Morath; vice-presidents. Mr. J. P. Burns, Mr. L. Hall and Mr. A. G. Wilson ; councillors, Mr. H. McDougall, Mr. G. Watt, Mr. W. A. Scott, Mr. 11. Hix-Trott, Mr. C. Broadley, Mr. T. Magill and Mr. J. B. Campbell. The report of the secretary for the year ended June 30. 1937, dealt comprehensively with the work of the branch during that period, touching upon all phases of the institute’s activities. The balance-sheet for the period siiowedxthe finances of the branch to be in a sound position, all funds showing credit balances. ;
