STOLE LOUDSPEAKERS
« Radio Technician Before Court Convicted on charges of stealing a radio loudspeaker worth 22/- on June 1, and another worth £l/5/8 on July 21, from Braithwaite Radio Supplies, Limited, Ronald Keir Duncan, radio technician, aged 31, was ordered to eorue up for sentence if called on within 18 months. He appeared in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, yesterday, before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M. . Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle said Duncan obtained employment with the firm as a radio expert. He took the speakers, and sold them to a dealer at W -\eaeh. He had been before the court several times previously, and was at present on probation. Mr. P. Verschaffelt, who appeared for Dunean, pleaded that he should be given another chance. There was a girl prepared to marry him, and to help him make a fresh start in some other country, and his friende were willing to provide him with the means of doing so.
