MR. ABERHART DEFIED
Alberta Minister’s Refusal To Resign Edmonton (Alberta), April 30. The Minister of Agriculture, Mr. W. N. Chant, has refused the request of the Premier, Mr. W. Aberhart, to resign. The Premier states that, more aggressiveness and efficiency is needed in the Agriculture Department. Mr. Chant, in a letter, declares that his responsibility to the electorate forbids his resignation.
