SKILFUL OPERATIONS
Tribesmen in India Suffer Reverses (Received May 3, 7.30 p.m.) London, May 2. The Simla correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says punitive expeditions and skilful operations in the Khaisora Valley are disheartening the tribesmen, who have been constantly drawn, into attack on grounds favouring Indian troops, who defeated their opponents in every encounter, inflicting over 100 casualties.
