OPOSSUM SEASONS
Dates in Acclimatisation Districts Seasons for the taking or killing of opossums in various acclimatisation districts are scheduled in a gazette issued yesterday. Tn the Wellington district the season will extend from noon on July 19 to noon on August 31. From noon on July 1 to noon on September 1 are to be the limits of the season in the East Const district. Marlborough district. Nelson district. Feilding district. Waiapn district, and Wanganui district. Seasons extending from noon on June 1 to noon on August 1 are to be observed in the Hawera district, Stratford district and Taranaki district.
