LODGE MEETINGS
Manchester Unity At the fortnightly meeting of Loyal Britannia Lodge, Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, the ritual judges and numerous visitors attended, j The meeting was followed by a social in the form of an indoor bowls tournament to celebrate the lodge's anniversary. Numerous visiting teams were entered. Loyal Pctone Lodge—Moera Branch. The fortnightly meeting of the Moera branch of Loyal Petone Lodge was presided over by Bro. Pemberton, with Sister Rushton as vice-grand. Bros. Stewart, Holt and Davis were present to judge the lodge ritual work, in competition with the other town and suburban lodges. Loyal Eketahuna Lodge. At the recent meeting of the Eketahuna lodge the secretary gave an interesting account of the visit to Masterton on the occasion of the visit of the grand master of the order in New Zealand, and the grand secretary. The secretary outlined the programme which had been drawn up to celebrate the lodge’s golden jubilee on Labour Day. It was reported that the combined visit of the Loyal Masterton and Dannevirke lodges to Eketahuna would take place on April 24, the social arrangements being in the hands of a special committee.
