CONCERT TO AID PLUNKET SOCIETY
A concert to assist the funds of the Ha taitai Plunket. Society was held in the Hataitai Methodist Church hall last week. Mr. W. F. Stock, who presided, explained the aims of the branch and thanked the artists for their voluntary support.
The programme was as follows:- —Irish jig, Misses Merle Jacobs, Colleen Grainger, and Marion Wallace; elocution, Mrs. G. Castle; impersonations, Mr. D. Roche; skipping dance, Miss Dorothy Atkin; song, Miss M. Clifford ; tap dance, Mis,s Mar: ■ Wallace; song, Mr. K. Macaulay; “Pansy,” Miss Merle and Mr. RexJacobs; pianoforte solo, Miss W. F. Price; Highland fling, Miss Colleen Grainger; instrumental duet, Messrs. J. Gibson and R. Levin; elocution, Miss Meryl Daniels; song, Mr. J. M. Caldwell. The accompanist was Miss W. F. Price.
