One New Positive Case at Wellington Hospital

All schools in Palmerston North, both primary and post-primary, are to be closed until further notice as a precautionary measure, the- Director of Education stated yesterday. Levin..— A boy aged seven, the first positive case of infantile paralysis in Levin, was removed to the Palmerston North Hospital during the week-end. All lite schools in Levin have been closed. Mastei’ton. — There was only one further case of infantile paralysis notified in the AVairarapa over tlie week-end, the patient being a boy of 15 from Masterton, who was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. Of tlie nine cases now in the hospital, five have been diagnosed as positive, including tlie latest patient. Gisborne. — One case of infantile paralysis was reported at Nuhaka during tiie week-end, the patient being a Maori girl of two and a half years of age. She has been taken to the Wairoa Hospital.
