Big Increase Recorded (Received April IS, 6.30 p.m.) Ottawa, April 17. Canadian exports for the year ended March 31 totalled 1,061,000,000, an increase of 212,000,000 dollars. Imports were 671,000,000 dollars, an increase of 109,000,000 dollars. Total trade was 1,733,000,000 dollars, an increase of 321,000,000 dollars, leaving a favourable balance of 389,000,000 dollars. Income tax collections were 102,000,000 dollars, an increase of 19,000,000 doUam. /
