FORECAST FOR TO-DAY’S WEATHER.
—* — Mostly fine, but scattered showers and cold temperatures. Following is the weather report and forecast, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the 24 hours ending 3.30 p.m. to-day■ Pressure has been falling somewhat over New Zealand to-day with the approach from the west of a fresh disturbance. A moderate anti-cyclone covers the south Tasman Sea. . . ~ w„. Winds light to moderate and variable, but southerlies again predominating and freshening somewhat. Seas in New Zealand waters rather rough at times on Parts <>f the east coas , ' about Cook Strait and in the far north, but otherwise slight to moderate. Southerly or south-easterly winds in the Eastern Tasman Sea, strong at times especially in the northern portion, but mainly light to moderate with slig t to moderate seas. Weather for the most part fine, but with occasional scattered and passing showers in most districts. Temperatures cold with some frosts.
