Non-Intervention in Spain.— Control, under the Non-Intervention Committee's agreement, of the entry of neutral nationals into Spain was due to take effect at midnight last night, and no further accretion to the forces of either contending party in the civil strife is to be allowed. The top picture shows German forces on parade at Salamanca when their leader, General Faupel, presented his credentials to General Franco. At lower left is Captain Malcolm Macdonald, and lower right Colonel C. D. O. Lunn, the English and Danish nominees respectively in charge of the French and Portuguese frontiers of Spain.
